Federal Mask Mandate No Longer in Effect

As of April 18th, 2022 a Federal Court ruling made the CDC mask mandate on public transportation and at transportation hubs no longer valid. Therefore the Village Shuttle is no longer requiring masks on buses or at stations.

While masks are no longer required, riders who are not fully vaccinated, feeling ill, are immunocompromised, or who feel more comfortable continuing to wear a mask are still encouraged to do so. We will continue to provide masks for riders who would prefer to wear one.

We will continue to follow directives from the FTA and TSA as well as work with local and state health departments to ensure the safety of our operators and riders. Buses will continue to be disinfected and fogged on a regular basis and driver barriers will remain in buses.
